The service

Watchman Alerts ("Watchman"), operated by Mega Labs XYZ LLC, sends one text message each morning to subscribed mobile numbers: a short plain-English alert about current scams and security problems and what to do about them. Message frequency is one message per day, plus occasional service messages about your subscription.

Signing up

You subscribe at watchmanalerts.com by entering a mobile number you control and confirming it with a one-time code we text you. Entering the code is your consent to receive the daily Alert and service messages at that number. If you later add other numbers, each one must confirm by replying YES before it receives anything.

Price

$2.99 per month for the first number and $1.99 per month for each additional number, billed monthly through Stripe to the card or wallet you provide. Prices are shown before you pay and may change with notice by text.

Cancelling

Text STOP to (732) 800-9666 from the number that gets the Alert. Texts to that number stop immediately and billing for it stops the same moment. You can also cancel at watchmanalerts.com/manage. Charges already made are not refunded except where the law requires or at our discretion.

SMS Terms

By subscribing you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Watchman Alerts at the number you provided. Message frequency: one per day plus occasional service messages. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text HELP for help. Text STOP to cancel.

What Watchman is and isn't

Watchman is general information from public sources, written to be useful to ordinary people. It is not legal, financial, or professional security advice, and we can't promise it will cover every threat or that following it will prevent loss. Use your judgment, and when in doubt, call the number on the back of your card.

Our promises to you

We never send a text with a link in it. We never ask for passwords or codes. We never share your number for marketing. If a message claims to be from Watchman and breaks any of these, it isn't from us.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Watchman is provided "as is," and our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
